STUDY ABROAD
Erasmus+ Exchange Programme
The Erasmus+ Exchange Programme allows you to study in Europe for one term, at one of YSTFI's partner institutions. You will go abroad for the first term (Autumn) or second term (Spring) in your second and third year of studies.

Eligibility Requirements
Not all degree programmes offer a semester exchange. Check with the International Affairs Office if you can go on exchange as part of your degree and where you can go.
Be at least in your second or third year of undergraduate studies by the time your exchange takes place
Be registered and in full time attendance at YSTFI
Be studying a subject at YSTFI that provides an exchange opportunity as part of the course
Be proficient in English or French (at least B1 level according to CEFR)
Required Documents
Personal Statement / Motivation Letter
Explain why you would like to go on exchange and how it will benefit you
Certificate of Language Proficiency
Not older than 3 years
Plan of Study
Detailing courses and corresponding credits (at least 75% must be relevant to your degree)
Academic Record
Your most up-to-date transcript
CV (if applicable)
Based on host university requirements
Portfolio (if applicable)
Completed work relevant to your degree programme
Application Process
Understand Your Options
Reach out to the International Affairs Office and stay tuned to announcements on YSTFI's social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) for exchange opportunities and deadlines.
Gather Documents
Prepare your motivation letter, language certificate, plan of study, academic record, CV, and portfolio as required.
Submit Application
Request the online application form by contacting Ms Nareh Zakarian at international@ystfi.am and submit all documents by email.
Interview
You will be contacted for an interview held by a jury in both Armenian and English or French.
Selection & Approval
If selected, your application will be submitted to the host university. Once approved, you'll receive next steps for visa, course selection, and pre-departure preparation.
Important Deadlines
Apply by April 30th of the same year
If studying abroad in your 2nd year autumn term, apply by April 30th of your 1st year
Apply by September 30th of the previous year
